Hi, I’m Stacey.

I am a qualified social worker and member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), and my practice is guided by their Code of Ethics.

This means I am accountable to clear professional standards, including ethical conduct, ongoing learning, and reflective supervision.

You can read more about my professional framework here.

CPD + supervision requirements

I approach professional development as an ethical responsibility particularly in end-of-life work, where care must be informed, relational, and responsive to complexity.

Each year, I meet AASW requirements for Continuing Professional Development, including:

  • 15 hours – Skills & Knowledge

  • 5 hours – Professional Identity

  • 10 hours – Professional Supervision

These requirements support safe, reflective, and evolving practice.

Recent learning includes:

  • Working with People at End of Life — Skills & Knowledge (1.5 hrs)

  • Voluntary Assisted Dying Laws in NSW: Implications for social work — Professional Identity (0.6 hr)

  • Working with Challenging Clients in Aged Care Settings — Professional Identity (1 hr)

  • Taking Therapy Outdoors — Professional Identity (0.5 hr)

  • Systemic Model and Community Development Principles — Professional Identity (0.5 hrs)

  • Making the Most of Clinical Supervision — Professional Identity (1 hr)
