What We Offer
At The Liminal Companion, we provide compassionate, person-centred support for individuals and families navigating end-of-life journeys. Our services are tailored to your needs, values, and circumstances.
We create spaces where life’s thresholds are met with care, curiosity, and connection. Our offerings are invitations to gather, reflect, and transform together:
Reflective space – Gentle gatherings where stories, grief, and joy are held in shared trust. Here, every voice matters, and every silence is sacred.
Workshops of Becoming – Space to explore grief, ritual, and self-compassion, fostering resilience, understanding, and embodied wisdom.
Ritual & Remembrance – Collective ceremonies that honour transitions, celebrate lives, and give shape to memory and meaning.
Learning & Sharing – Resources that illuminate the edges of life, death, and care, cultivating knowledge and solidarity.
Connection & Care Networks – Pathways to support for those navigating liminal moments alone or together.
Each offering is a doorway into reflection, into presence, into belonging. A chance to witness, be witnessed, and weave the threads of life with others who understand the weight and wonder of the in-between.
What Sets Us Apart
Integrity, care, and empathy shape the way we work. They are not just words, but living principles that inform how we show up. We believe in real relationship, steady presence, and support that honours each person’s unique path.
People-First Approach
At the heart of this work is a simple commitment: you are not a case, a diagnosis, or a timeline. You are a person, held within relationships, histories, beliefs, fears, and loves.
My role is not to lead, manage, or prescribe but to listen deeply and respond to what you need in this moment. Support is shaped around your values, your pace, and your way of making meaning. Whether we are sitting in silence, speaking openly, or simply being together, your humanity always comes first.
Flexible, Responsive Support
Dying, and living alongside death, rarely follows a neat plan. Needs change. Energy shifts. What felt right yesterday may not feel right today.
The Liminal Companion offers flexible, responsive support that adapts as circumstances unfold. This might mean adjusting how we work together, shifting focus, or simply meeting uncertainty with steadiness rather than solutions. There is no “right way” to do this. There is only your way, honoured as it evolves.
Community‑Driven, Not Isolated
Death does not belong solely to individuals; it belongs to families, friendships, and wider communities. Modern culture often isolates people at the end of life, but this work gently restores connection.
Where appropriate, we support loved ones, carers, and chosen family alongside the person who is dying. We also see death literacy as a shared responsibility and something that grows when we talk, learn, and show up for one another. This work is rooted in collective care, not quiet separation
A Steady Companion in Liminal Space
The end of life is a threshold where we are neither fully here nor fully gone. It can feel unfamiliar, frightening, or strangely expansive.
We offer calm, grounded presence in these liminal spaces. Not to rush them, explain them away, or make them palatable, but to stay. To bear witness. To walk alongside you as this passage unfolds, with respect for its gravity and its mystery. You do not have to cross this threshold alone
Our Packages
Each offering is a container rather than a formula. Support is shaped around real people, real needs, and real moments and never rushed, never one‑size‑fits‑all.
$800 Full Fee — 10 Hours of Dedicated, Person‑Centred Support
This package offers 10 hours of dedicated, person‑centred support, held within a flexible and responsive container. Time may be used in ways that best meet your needs, whether that includes ongoing end‑of‑life companioning, advance care planning, legacy work, support for loved ones and carers, or vigil presence as death approaches.
Rather than following a fixed program, sessions unfold at a pace that feels supportive to you, allowing space for relationship, trust, and changing circumstances. Support may take many forms such as: quiet presence, conversation, guidance, or simply being alongside. It is always shaped by what feels most supportive in the moment.
Sessions can be scheduled regularly or used flexibly as needs arise. This package is designed to reduce logistical stress, offer continuity of care, and ensure support remains steady and accessible during tender and uncertain times.
$600 Reduced Fee — 10 Hours of Dedicated, Person‑Centred Support
(Available to concession card holders)
This package offers 10 pre‑planned sessions of dedicated, person‑centred support at a reduced rate, intended to increase accessibility while maintaining the same quality of care, presence, and attention.
Sessions may be used across a range of supports, including ongoing end‑of‑life companioning, advance care planning, legacy work, support for loved ones and carers, or vigil presence. Time is held within a flexible container, allowing sessions to be scheduled regularly or used responsively as needs change.
The reduced‑fee package is offered in recognition that financial circumstances vary, and that meaningful support at the end of life should remain available to those who need it. Care is provided with the same respect, steadiness, and commitment as all other offerings.
